EIA procedure
- Project description and consideration of alternatives
Referring to Article 5 (1) allied to Annex IV of the EIA Directive, the project itself has to be described, for example location of the project, scale, process, layout, operating conditions, etc., as well as all possible project alternatives.
Within the EIA process, the developer is the one choosing the alternatives to be studied, Article 5 (3) (d) allied to Annex IV (2) of the directive.
